Community Investment & Housing Lead - Oxfordshire
An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client, an established Housing Provider in the South East of England - Oxfordshire for a Community Investment and Housing Lead professional on a Full Time 2 Year Fixed Term Contract.
As a Community Investment and Housing Lead, you will need to work proactively through networks to engage with current, new and potential partners within existing and new community interests.
Part of you role will require you to act as the key contact between the organisation and communities and other actors to establish housing in relation to identified demands across the District, and wider collaboration.
You will need to establish and develop effective and dynamic partnerships with agencies and organisations that further the organisation's policies and aims in regard to new housing.
You will be expected to research and identify the key stakeholders in the wider community, and using engagement and influencing skills to gain buy-in to the District's Community Engagement Strategy.
You will need to increase the delivery of housing in the District through careful market intelligence, and identify opportunities for; land, property, innovation and collaborative working.
As a Community Investment and Housing Lead, you will be working with colleagues (internal and external) to contribute to the organisation's objective to broaden its scope of housing provision in a rural area.
You will need to maintain accurate records electronically to ensure that the project can be monitored and managed effectively.
An important area of your role will be to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
At the same time you will need to maintain a thorough knowledge of Housing, Planning and other relevant legislation.
