Do you want to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or perhaps move on to do your Masters?

Are you looking for experience within a Primary School working on a 1:1 basis with Special Educational Needs Pupils?

Will you be totally committed to this child, to the school and to this role for the next year or perhaps 2 years?

If so, working on a 1:1 basis with this Year 2 child who is on the Autistic Spectrum could be the perfect position for you.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate who holds a 2:1 or above and has a desire to work in the educational field.

This is a great school located on South London on the boarders of Zone 1 & 2 is easily accessible to public transport and moments walk away from the tube.

Working with a Year 2 student on a 1:1 basis you will need to be patient, empathetic, and creative as well as having a have a firm but fair approach.

The pupil is on the Autistic Spectrum and is currently working to P Levels of the National Curriculum.

Although he is non verbal he is extremely bright and a joy to be with.

Ideally the school would love someone who has previous ASD experience but the SENCO has said she will consider a strong recent graduate who is considering a career in the field of Education Psychology or Speech & Language.

This is a good school and although you may have no previous experience you will be well supported by the current SENCO and you’ll be offered all the guidance needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for Graduates aiming for a career as an Educational Psychologist or Speech & Language Therapist!
