Job purpose:
To support the reward manager through the provision of expert analysis and insight, and through efficient and accurate management of reward processes with a focus on compensation elements
To provide analytical support during compensation activities such as job evaluation job mapping and grading structures, salary benchmarking and survey submissions.

To provide support during cyclical activities such the annual pay review and bonus process.

Main Accountabilities
Support the delivery of key reward initiatives such as job evaluation, job matching market benchmarking.
Provide analytical support and co-ordinate activities during the annual pay review and bonus process
Responsible for job evaluation and benchmarking of jobs and the completion of data submission for salary surveys ensuring that accurate information is recorded and maintained
Manage grading framework and maintain the integrity of the grading structure
Lead on job evaluation panel meetings to review and grade jobs
Develop knowledge of the HR Information System and provide relevant d
a to support reward analysis
Provide support during pensions auto-enrolment activities and statutory Gender Pay Reporting
Support the development of existing and new reward processes and effective communication plans for all reward activities
Proactively respond to all reward related queries

Key skills and experience required

Essential
Highly numerate individual with previous experience in supporting compensation processes, experience in Job evaluation, job matching, salary survey submission and benchmarking tools (Knowledge of Hay job evaluation a plus).
Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse complex data and draw conclusions.
MS Office skills with advanced level Excel (pivot tables / look up, IF statements).
Experience in HR systems (Oracle a plus)
Strong planning and organisation skills and work to a high degree of accuracy.
Solutions orientated mindset, able to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
CIPD member or evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
