Social Worker (Newly Qualified) - Wrexham
Are you an experienced or newly Qualified Social Worker in Wrexham, North of Wales who is eager to work with children and young people? Working with children with complex needs, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience as a Support Worker or Senior and progress your career with a fantastic residential care provider.

Who will you be joining?
An established and trusted provider of therapeutic residential and educational support for children and young people with complex needs, including emotional behavioural difficulties, early childhood trauma, child sexual exploitation, personality disorders and ADHD. Their ultimate aim is to prepare each individual for independent living within the community and to maximise their potential and achieve their goals.

What are the hours, salary and pay rates?

• £22,000 - £24,000 per annum.
• Hours: 2 shifts on 8am – 11pm sleep over then 4 days off (includes weekends on a rolling rota).

What will the role involve?
As an experienced or newly Qualified Social Worker you will be the most important person to the children you support. You will become a friend, role model, teacher and someone they can trust and feel safe with. You will be supporting them through all aspects of their daily and educational life, encouraging independence and promoting emotional stability through therapeutic techniques.
